YMMV, but in practice — Thread is overkill for this use case.
SystemAdmin: Absolutely agree — I had the same issue and solved it by reconfiguring the hub. Took me forever to find that parameter.

I've been working with this for several years and it's been pretty solid. The notifications work well after you configure correctly.
